AVERAGE AMERICAN FEMALE....

This is CRAZY...can't wait to share with all my girls...just to find out if it's really TRUE!

ARE YOU WITH THE WRONG MAN?  MAYBE THE PILL IS TO BLAME!!

Birth control pills could screw up a woman's ability to sniff out a compatible mate, a new study finds. While several factors can send a woman swooning, including big brains and brawn, body odor can be critical in the final decision, the researchers say. That's because beneath a woman's flowery fragrance or a guy's musk the body sends out aromatic molecules that indicate genetic compatibility.

Major histocompatibility complex (MHC) genes are involved in immune response and other functions, and the best mates are those that have different MHC smells than you. The new study reveals, however, that when women are on the pill they prefer guys with matching MHC odors.

Past studies have suggested couples with dissimilar MHC genes are more satisfied and more likely to be faithful to a mate. And the opposite is also true with matchng-MHC couples showing less satisfaction and more wandering eyes.

OMG - DO WE REALLY NEED HELP FINDING THE LOSERS???? SERIOUSLY!

One of the main reasons I love summer in Oregon - long walks out in the country - so peaceful and pretty and Dom can run and get all muddy and tired out.  Had a great adventure last night at our friends home in Junction City - you should have seen Dom's face when he saw the tractor - and how muddy he was when we got back to the house - we had to hose him off in the sink!  Needless to say he was crashed out before we hit River Road...here's a bit of photo evidence!

Dom got a hair cut this weekend - Daddy says it's too short - but I say it's too cute!

I LOVE SUMMER!!!! and obviously my son Dominic does too!
Just thought I'd share a few fun summer fun pics...

I'M AM SO EXCITED TO TELL YOU ABOUT...VAL'S HOT MAMA DEALS...
From time to time when I come across way cool Mama gear I'm gonna try to pass it along to you. We all discover unique ways to become a better Mommy, and the products and things that help us do it, the same way...THRU OUR FRIENDS...so if you ever come across something that you and your little one just couldn't live without LET ME KNOW...and I'll try to score some to pass along to the rest of the girls!

More HOT MAMA DEALS to come this summer...enjoy!
Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day...or as my son Dominc says "Momma Day!"  My boys spoiled me and gave me a Wii and Guitar Hero for a gift.  While that may sound like a gift for HIM  instead of me (sound familiar ladies!) I am a closet GH junkie and was up til nearly 11p (late for me) trying to beat Slash...too much fun!
HAPPY EARTH DAY!  When I mentioned this to my husband this morning he replied "Everyday is Earth Day"  which reminded me (A) that he's right and (B) that he's definetly lived in Eugene for the majority of his life.

HEY ALL YOU HOT MAMAS!!!!

Gotta remind you that this week we'll wrap up our DISNEYLAND getaways in a BIG WAY...giving away a family trip for (4) EVERYDAY this week!  Sweet.

If you never thought you could afford to take the little ones to meet the mouse this is a great hook up - hotel accommodations and park hopper passes for (2) adults and (2) kids...you could even go with one of your Best-ies and her (or his) little one!

Just get down to Kiefer Kia at 7th and Grant to sign up - a test drive isn't mandatory but if you DO take one you'll get 5 entries into the daily drawings instead of just one!

Man the State Fair was a trip this weekend.  Parking.  Horrible.  Getting in to the fairgrounds.  Terrible.  The line to get in to see the Doodlebops.  Way too long.

But once we were in, and a nice little breeze kicked in it was all good.  Thought is was cool that at least 2 of the 3 Doodlebops were the actors from the actual TV show cast.

Honestly, Dom is not even 2, so we didn't stay for the whole show. But while we were there he was dancing and shaking his hips along to the music the whole time - too cute!

Do you bring your kids to shows like this all the time?  Bob the Builder is coming to the Hult Center in March and I am so excited - Dom LOVES Bob and sings all the songs every day in the car.

What was the best show you've ever taken you little one too?  And what was the worst?  How old should they be before you start taking them to movies?

FEEDBACK and you could win a Taco Del Mar prize pack for your family - that means NO cooking for you!
